Deborah Elaine Walker Clifton (MeMe)

Deborah Elaine Walker Clifton (MeMe), 65, died Jan. 16, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She taught many years in a Christian school her children attended.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 18 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

She leaves her husband of 47 years, Ward Clifton; three sons, Brad Clifton (Mendy) of Potts Camp, Brian Clifton (Bethany), Blake Clifton (Dana), both of Hickory Flat; mother, Lilly Huff (Dave) of Atoka, Tenn.; stepmother, Nellie Walker of Falkner; one brother, Andy Walker of Brighten, Tenn.; two halfbrothers, Hugh Walker Jr. of Ohio, Brandon Walker of Falkner; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her father, Hugh Walker. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or Cornerstone Baptist Church.
