David Franklin Glover Jr.

David Franklin Glover Jr., 56, of Holly Springs, died March 14, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was employed as a hairstylist at V's Stylist in Memphis.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on March 22 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and from 1:30 to 2:25 p.m. at Awakening Church in Holly Springs on March 23. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Dewitt Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell #2 MB Church Cemetery in Holly Springs.

He leaves a daughter, Chynna Glover of Memphis; his mother, Rosie Lee Glover of Holly Springs; eight sisters, Mary Joyce Wilson and Mary L. Sims of Holly Springs, Annie Glover of Southaven, Marie Murphy (Booker) of Tulsa, Okla., Jean Simmons (Billy) of Gary, Ind., Tinnie M. Smith (Austin) and Theresa Williams (Tarvise) of Atlanta, Ga., Linda Rhine of Memphis; four brothers, Odice Glover of Chicago, Ill., Rev. Dewitt Glover (Lena) of Holly Springs, Wilford Rhine and Isaac Glover of Phoenix, Ariz.; one granddaughter; and a godson, Kelvin Thompson of Hernando.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Franklin Glover Sr.; four brothers, George Howard Glover, Franklin D. Glover, James F. Glover, Willie B. Glover; two sisters, Rose Mary Glover and Delois Rhine.
