David Alan Howell

David Alan Howell, 62, of Hickory Flat, died October 2, 2023, at his home. He was a subcontractor with Union Laborer 1441.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 7 at New Hope Baptist Church in Slayden. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Joshua Alan Holbrook of Holly Springs; stepdaughter, Tish Thompson (Brad) of Gordonsville, Tenn.; brothers, Larry Howell (Debbie) of Memphis, Tenn., Terry Howell of Denver, Colo.; sisters, Barbara Lawrence (Willie) of Hernando, Brenda Hunter (Walter) of Rossville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leldon Eugene Howell and Emily Yvonne Dunn; brothers, Billy Howell, Ricky Howell, Michael Howell and Jerry Lee Howell.
