Darrin Monteze "Ted" Smith Sr.

Darrin Monteze "Ted" Smith Sr., 45, of Holly Springs, died March 6, 2026. He was a member of Calvin Chapel United Methodist Church and was employed at Air One of Memphis, Tenn., and later self-employed.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on March 27 from 5-7 p.m. with services on March 28 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Southwoods in Memphis.

He leave his wife, Qournekia Fields-Smith of Memphis; daughters, Morgan Smith of Memphis, Destiny Howell of Ripley; sons, Darrin Smith Jr., Darrion Smith, both of Memphis; parents, Diane and Cliff Cowan III, Gaston Smith, all of Holly Springs; grandmothers, Odessa Hughes, Louise Riddle; brothers, Gaston L. Smith of Holly Springs, Sean Blake of Killeen, Texas, Cliff Cowan IV of Olive Branch; sisters, Synetra Cowan (John) of Olive Branch, Christie Smith (Joey) of Oxford, Iiesha Ingram of New Albany, Victoria Smith of Garland, Texas; and two grandsons.
