Daniel Edmond Cook

Daniel Edmond Cook, 73, of Byhalia, died June 14, 2025. He was a U.S. Army veteran who was presented the Army Commendation medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He retired from Ozark Motor Lines.
A memorial service was held with full military honors on June 22 at 3 p.m. at 707 Highway 309 North, Byhalia. Another memorial service will be held at a later date in Richwood, WV. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Shirley Harding; children, John Brandon Kirby, Patrick Daniel Cook (Keri), Daniel Zachery Cook (Jessica), sister, Karen Cook Howerton (Wally); and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death a sister, Vickie Ann Cook Hinkle.
