Dacamryn Demetric Rankin

Dacamryn Demetric Rankin, 20, of Byhalia, died January 27, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Nichols Chapel CME Church where he was a member of the youth department. He was employed at 78 Auto Salon until his health failed.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 5 at Nichols Chapel CME Church. Pastor Florstine Woods and Rev. Adams officiated. Burial was in St. Matthew Cemetery in Byhalia. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his mother, Sherri Rankin, father, Cleavell Dodson Jr.; sisters, Latyna Rankin, Charvell Shipp, Kamayia Higgenbottom; brothers, Courtney Rankin, Trevell Shipp; grandparents, Cecillia Chew, Elliott Jones Jr., and Cleavell Dodson Sr.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cleothria Dodson and great-grandmother, Christine White.
