Cornell Walker

Cornell Walker, 69, of Potts Camp, died January 26, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a machinist at Worthington Industries in New Albany.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 4 from 3-6 p.m. and Feb. 5 at Baptist Hill MB Church in Potts Camp from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Anthony Marion will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Schmeka Walker of Collierville, Tenn., Lillian Kimmons of Southaven; son, Neal Walker of New Albany; sister, Mattie Bean of Memphis; brother, Chester Walker of Calif.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Taylor Walker; son, Kevin Walker; and parents, Johnnie Rice and Lillie Chatman Walker.
