Cornelius Edward Jones, 78, of Waterford, died January 15, 2023, at his home. He was retired from University of MS.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 25 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home Chapel.
He leaves his wife, Mary Ann Corbett Jones; children, Cynthia Cillt of Stockton, Calif.; Deborah Brooks of Sacramento, Calif., Edith Jones of Oakland, Calif., Joe Barr of Oxford; sisters, Edith Cunningham, Deborah Smith, Marvel Brasley, all of New Orleans, La.; brother, James Jones of Seattle, Wash. and six grandchildren.
