Cora Jean Walton

Cora Jean Walton, 66, of Holly Springs, died June 30, 2024, at Collierville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church were she served as former president of the church choir and church disciple. She was a Direct Care Giver at Marshall Industries.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 5 at Hopewell No. 1 MB Church. Rev. Willie E. Hoey officiated. Burial was in Bowens Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Latasha Walton, Donnitha Walton, Curressia Walton, all of Holly Springs; sisters, Renee WaltonTaylor, Debbie Riddle, both of Holly Springs; brother, Robert Walton of Cordova, Tenn.; fiancé, Cleroy Moton of Holly Springs; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Woods Walton; and sister, Marquette Walton.
