Connie Mae Taylor Young

Connie Mae Taylor Young, 81, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 28, 2017, at her home. She was a cook at the BP Truck Stop in Red Banks.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the funeral home, and at the church on Oct. 7 from 9:30-10:25 a.m.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. S.A. Phillips will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Elautry Young Sr.; two sons, Elautry Young Jr. of Holly Springs, Rayfield Young of Florence, Ala.; two daughters, Earline Cummings of Victoria, Virginia Young of Red Banks; three sisters, Clara Taylor, Mildred Taylor, both of Memphis, Tenn., Vera Lee Richmond of Olive Branch; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Alvin Young and Stanley Young.
