Clencie Lewis Edwards Cotton III

Clencie Lewis Edwards Cotton III, 75, of Holly Springs, died June 2, 2022. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He served as a trial attorney, county attorney and city attorney in Northeern Mississippi, and served as executive director of the Rust College Community Development Corporation for 18 years.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon on June 10 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 584 East McLemore, Memphis, Tenn.
He leaves his former wife, Cheryl Fanion; his daughters, Indira Cotton Williams (Justin), Norie Cotton; mother, Alvadie Redrick; sisters, Bettye Edwards Cotton Price, Barbara Edwards, Jacqueline Redrick; and brother, Michael Edwards.
