Clay Cottrell Robinson

Clay Cottrell Robinson, 84, of Holly Springs, died December 15, 2022, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and retired from Construction Labor Union of Chicago.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 27 from 2-5:30 p.m. and on Dec. 28 at Asbury United Methodist Church from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Zachery Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his wife, Virginia Ruth Thomas Robinson; stepdaughters, Lynett Thomas of Holly Springs, Arsenia Harris of Aurora, Ill.; sister, Loretta Wicks of Batesville; brother, Perry Robinson of Sardis; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Robinson, Sammie Robinson, Hardlee Robinson, Autry Dempsie Robinson and Henry Drayton Robinson.
