Clarence Edward Brown

Clarence Edward Brown, 76, of Holly Springs, died, July 10, 2023, at Methodist Hospice House in Memphis, Tenn. He was a former member of Hudsonville CME Church and attended Sand Hill MB Church. He was retired from Holly Springs Brick and Tile.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 14 from 3-6 p.m. and on July 15 at Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar from 1-1:55 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Rev. Darrell Mays will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his wife, Olivia Brown; daughters, Beatrice Thomas, Karen Brown, Shunna Brown, all of Holly Springs, Ketina Lipscomb of Fayettesville, Ga., Rotarsher Brown, Sherita Brown, both of Olive Branch; sons, Charles Brown, Tracy Brown, both of Las Vegas, Nev., John Brown of Olive Branch, Keashun Brown of Holly Springs; sister, Ola Brown of Bloomington, Ill.; 35 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Otis Brown, Freddie B. Luellen, Jasper “Jack” Brown Jr., Catherine Zinn, Lorein Brooks, Bernice Brown and Earnestine Brown.
