Clarence Arthur Allen Jr.

Clarence Arthur Allen Jr., 72, of Holly Springs, died March 11, 2024, at Alliance Health Care Emergency Room. He was member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church and a retired farmer from Hurdle Farms.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on March 16 at Adolphus Chapel CME Church. Rev. Tony Wilkins officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Janice Marie Faulkner; children, James Arthur Branch of West Helena, Ark., Melissa Jones of Holly Springs, Marie Faulkner of Memphis, Tenn., Marquis Faulkner of Olive Branch; sisters, Virginia Nunnally of Holly Springs, Minnie Sanderson of Memphis; brothers, Forest Allen of Holly Springs, Willie B. Allen of Memphis, Tommy Allen of Holly Springs, Nathaniel Allen of Memphis, Ricky Sanderson of Boston, Ma., Robin Allen, Anthony Allen, both of Savannah, Ga., Jamie Allen of Memphis; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertha Allen.
