Clara Joyce Clayton

Clara Joyce Clayton, 92, of Potts Camp, died May 16, 2022, at her home. She was a cafeteria worker for the school.

Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. On May 19 at Temperance Hill Baptist Church with services at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a son, Lynn Goolsby (Martha) of Potts Camp; daughter, Marion Hunsucker (David) of Ashland; stepsons, Jack Clayton (Linda) of Kent., Ralph Clayton (Kay) of Potts Camp, Roger Clayton (Kathryn) of New Albany; stepdaughter, Joann Mayer (Carey) of Potts Camp; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Goolsby and Joel Clayton; a son, Jerry Drew Goolsby; and granddaughter, Lisa Renea Hunsucker.
