C.L. Hoyle Jr.

C.L. Hoyle Jr., 91, of Rossville, Tenn., formerly of Ashland, died December 30, 2022, in Rossville. He was a member of Union Hill MB Church in Ashland where he served as a church deacon, member of mass choir and male chorus. He was a retired factory worker at Hardeman International.

Visitation will be held at Union Hill MB Church in Ashland on Jan. 6 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 11 am. on Jan. 7 at Hardaway MB Church in Michigan City. Rev. Randal Woodward will officiate. Burial will be in Union Hill MB Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Cliffie Steward of Rossville; sons, Quincy Hoyle of Bolivar, Tenn., Cameron Hoyle of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brother, Roosevelt Hoyle of Michigan City; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Earline Batts, Sadie Hunt and Frank Hoyle.
