Chester Johnson Jr.

Chester Johnson Jr., 70, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 2, 2021, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Springfield MB Church in Senatobia where he served as a deacon. He was an educator with Houma, La. Schools.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 10 from 3-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 11 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Rev. Mark Davis will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Betty J. Withers Johnson; two daughters, Freida Johnson of San Diego, Calif., LaFiesta Johnson of Holly Springs; stepdaughter, Bernita Fountain of Holly Springs; three sons, Frederick Johnson of San Diego, Chester F. Johnson of New Orleans, La., Chester C.J. Johnson of Houma; 18 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
