Cherry Hailey Thompson, 72, of Hickory Flat, died May 7, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, and owner/operator of Cherry's Beauty Shop for over 50 years before her retirement.
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were provided by New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care.
She leaves two daughters, Amber Hailey (James) of Michigan City and Lee Anne Edwards (Travis) of Holly Springs; and seven grandchildren.
