Charsie M. Washington Sanders

Charsie M. Washington Sanders, 84, of Lamar, died July 26, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries where she served on the mother board and was a former choir member. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral home on Aug. 1 from 1-6 p.m. and on Aug. 2 at Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries from 99:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Bishop L.T. Mason will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Phyllis Waldrop, Shirren D. Ayers, both of Lamar; sons, Terry Sanders of Holly Springs, Orlando Sanders of Lamar; sisters, Dorothy Terry, Velma Glen, both of Lamar, Louise Moore of Chicago, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.T. Sanders; daughter, Linda Kay Sanders; siblings, Betty Faulkner, Willie Mae King, Albert Washington, Emmitt Bryson, Johnny Washington Jr., and J.C. Washington.
