Charlie L. Cole McKenzie

Charlie L. Cole McKenzie, 74, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Ashland, died February 8, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Memphis, former member of Shiloh MB Church in Ashland and retired lead person from Williams Sonoma in Olive Branch.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 15 from 1-5:30 p.m. and on Feb. 16 at Shiloh MB Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Willie Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Teresa Adams of Memphis; sister, Ada Williams of Southaven; brother, James Cole of Ashland; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Robert McKenzie; son, Rodney McKenzie; siblings, Janie Williams, Issac Cole, Arthur Cole, and John Cole.
