Charles A. Polk, 88, of Byhalia, died May 2, 2026, at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation Center in Southaven. He was a United States Army National Guard veteran, a Baptist and a carpenter.
Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a son, James A. Polk (Rachel) of Newark, Ark.; daughters, Melina Forbes of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Lisa Sorrell of Byhalia; brother, Edward Polk of Rossville, Tenn.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
