Charles Gerald "Jerry" Bennett

Charles Gerald "Jerry" Bennett, 74, of Olive Branch, died April 2, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The widower of Rosie Lee Johnson Bennett he was a retired manager for Kimco Services in Memphis. After retirement he drove a bus for DeSoto County Schools.
Services were held on April 6 at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial was in New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake. Brantley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his son, Charles Gerald "Chuck" Bennett Jr. of Germantown, Tenn.; his daughter, Vickie Pitman (Jeff) of Germantown; a step-son, Jason Gwatney of Stuttgart, Ark.; a sister, Patsy Braddock (John) of Faulkner; and a special friend, Jan Green of Olive Branch.
