Charles Estes Skelton

Charles Estes Skelton, 81, of Holly Springs, died September 15, 2023, at his home. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church in Lamar and was a deputy jailer for the Marshall County Sheriff's Department and a bailiff.

Visitation will be held at Clear Creek Baptist Church on Sept. 21 from 12-2 p.m. with services following. Burial will be in the Skelton Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Rose Skelton; four sons, Steve Skelton (Chris) of Corinth, Michael Skelton (Kerri) of Lake Center, Wayne Allen (Corrine) of Byhalia, Mark Feathers of Lamar; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacey Allen Feathers; brother, Sidney "Bosie" Skelton; two sisters, Sadie Jarrett and Donnie Dawson.
