Charles Earl Johnson

Charles Earl Johnson, 71, of Memphis, formerly of Grand Rapids, Mich. And Holly Springs, died May 6, 2022, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Prince of Peace MB Church in Grand Rapids where he served as a church deacon and was a choir member. He was a former employee at Federal Compress and Warehouse in Holly Springs.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 17 from 3-6 p.m. And at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks on May 18 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Arthur Pearson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Jasmine Johnson of Memphis, Belinda Cleary of Little Rock, Ark.; son, Jerome Johnson of Memphis; sister, Mary Ann Warren of Holly Springs; brother, Robert Lee Walls of Haywood City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Johnson.
