Carolyn Yarbrough Neergaard

Carolyn Yarbrough Neergaard, 62, of Olive Branch, died Feb. 1, 2019. She was a member of Emory Independent Methodist Church. She received her bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University and her nursing degree from the University of Tenn; a master's in Health Education from the University of Memphis. She retired as a cardiac rehab nurse.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 5 at Emory Independent Methodist Church with burial in Emory Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her spouse, Johnny Neergaard; a son, John David Neergaard (McKenzie); a daughter, Laura Booker (Michael); three sisters, Garland Minton of Ark., Paula Noble of Olive Branch, Lean Follett (her identical twin) of Meridian; and three granddaughters.

In lieu flowers, donations may be made to Red Banks Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
