Carolyn S. Thomas

Carolyn S. Thomas, 62, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Holly Springs, died Dec. 24, 2018. She was a graduate of Potts Camp High School and attended Rust College. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and an evangelist at Kingdom Impact Global Ministries in Fayetteville.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec . 31 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Elder Actavitis A. Allen officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband Michael Thomas; a son, Daniel D. Dangerfield of Las Vegas, Nev.; her mother, Nonie Mae Sims of Holly Springs; three stepsons, Jason Thomas of New Jersey, Richard Thomas of Little Rock, Ark., Anthony Thomas of Tyler, Texas; two stepdaughters, Vincenthia Simmons of Pine Bluff, Ark., Narcarsha Cannon of Virginia; four sisters, Clara A. "Pammie" Mayes of Olive Branch, Lenora "Nolee" Sims of Holly Springs, Elaine "Eekie" Watson of Hickory, Mary "Mandy" C. Sims of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Leon "Slim Jim" Sims; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Lee Sims.
