Carolyn Jean Jordan Fesmire Holbrook

Carolyn Jean Jordan Fesmire Holbrook was born July 29, 1947, in Abbeville, MS, and went to heaven on May 8, 2021, at the age of 73.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Holbrook in 2017, and her father, Troy H. Jordan in 1993.

She is survived by her son, Chris Fesmire (Stanley); and daughter, Cheri Simmons (Frankie, deceased); and her grandchildren, Mary Simmons, Shirley Simmons, Patricia Simmons and Brandon Jeffries; her mother, Lily "Orene" Haynie Jordan Ward; two brothers, Robert H. Jordan of Holly Springs, Mike Ward of Hot Springs, Ark.; and a sister, Mary J. Miller of Atoka, Tenn.

Carolyn was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs. She was also a member of the Pilot Club of Holly Springs for many years and during that time she held several officer positions. She taught ceramics as an outreach project to express her faith and love of art.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on May 12 at First Baptist Church. Thad Moore officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
