Carolyn Diane Jennings Washington

Carolyn Diane Jennings Washington, 67, of Memphis, Tenn., died March 31, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. The widow of Bishop Donald Washington, she was a member of Greater Bethlehem Temple Ministries Inc., where she served as a church mother and counselor. She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on April 6 at Entombment Forest Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, East Holmes Road in Memphis. Bishop Christopher Jones officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two daughters, Taniel Jones and Arneshela Ard, both of Memphis; one son, Ervin J. Ard of Memphis; three sisters, Charity Jennings of Memphis, Cynthia Hampton of Olive Branch, Brenda Jackson of Oakland, Tenn.; and 19 grandchildren.
