Carole Jean Taylor, 84, of Holly Springs, died September 5, 2024, at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs and a retired court reporter.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 at First Baptist Church of Holly Springs. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a daughter, Suzanne Elgin Lafever (Johnny) of Holly Springs; sons, Steve Elgin (Kathy) of Holly Springs, John Taylor III (Andrea) of Charleston; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Taylor Jr.; and a brother, William Leon Brown Jr.
