Carnell William Hoggs

Carnell William Hoggs, 65, of Holly Springs, died September 23, 2022, at Alliance HealthCare. He attended Kimbrough Chapel MB Church and was a machine operator at Sweet Heart Cup Company in Chicago, Ill.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 29 from 3-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 30 at Kimbrough Chapel MB Church Cemetery. Rev. Clarence Guy will officiate.

He leaves his daughters, Shavonda Hoggs of Memphis, Tenn., Candice Nelson of New Orleans, La.; sons, Ladaris George of Memphis, Courtney Clark of Wausau, Wisc., Christopher George of Kentucky; father, Curtis Collins of Holly Springs; sisters, Mary Lynn Boyd of Munster, Ind., Janice Buckner of Swansea, Ill., Dora Collins of Chicago, Lamonica Collins, Veronica Dukes, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Tony Curtis Collins of Tampa, Fla., DeWayne Collins of Holly Springs, Edgar Collins of Byhalia; caregiver, Katie Campbell of Holly Springs; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine Hoggs Beans; step-father, William Bean; siblings, Kenneth Bean and Diane Collins.
