Candy Sue Ash Ford

Candy Sue Ash Ford, 52, of Potts Camp, died March 2, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on March 12 from 5-8 p.m. with services on March 13 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Waterford.

She leaves her husband, David Owens of Potts Camp; son, Joshua Owens of Hickory Flat; stepson, Lucas Owens of Lamar; daughters, Ashley Nowlin (Bryon) of Hickory Flat, Kimberly Ford (Thomas Hardin) of Mason, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Hannah Ash of Lamar; brothers, Faron Ash (Brenda) of Potts Camp, David Ash (Bonnie) of Hornsby, Tenn.; sisters, Sue Cocke of Mt. Pleasant, Marie Whitehead (Tommy) of Ashland, Amanda Ford (Wayne) of Whiteville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Ash and Janie West Ash; brother, Derek Ash; and sister, Phillis Gray.
