Cajewel Anise Pegues

Cajewel Anise Pegues, 55, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 29, 2019. She was a member of St. Luke Church of God in Christ in Olive Branch. She was a 1983 graduate of Holly Springs High School and was currently attending the University of Mississippi.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 7 at St. Luke Church of God in Christ. Pastor Earl Allen Shannon officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Southwoods in Memphis, Tenn. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Lakendra Pegues of Memphis; siblings, Lloyd (Catherine) Pegues of Aurora, Ill., Kenneth (Mollie) Pegues of Holly Springs, Cassandra (Ervin) Ellis of Memphis, and Fredrick Pegues of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Riella Pegues; and one brother, Sylvester Pegues.
