Burma Rayford Tuggles

Burma Rayford Tuggles, 80, of Chulahoma, died October 4, 2022, at her home. She was a member of Chulahoma MB Church and worked at Galena School.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Oct. 14 from 3:30-6 p.m. and on Oct. 15 from 9-9:55 a.m. at Chulahoma MB Church with services at 10 a.m. Rev. McArthur King will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, James Mose Tuggles; daughters, Darlene Tuggles, Brenda Lee Tuggles, both of Chulahoma; sons, James Murry Tuggles of Chulahoma, Lester Tuggles of Holly Springs, Ozell Tuggles of Chulahoma; sisters, Martina Jones of Indianapolis, Ind., Mae Helen Davis of Chicago, Ill., Dorothy Jones of Aurora, Ill.; brothers, Lieutenant Davis, Leon Davis, both of Byhalia; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Erma Rayford, Gladys Harris, Ozell Rayford, Jimmy Rayford, Willie Hue Davis, M.L. Rayford and Clarence Davis Jr.
