Bulah Mae Childress Hicks, 68, died April 29, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. She was a graduate of W.T. Sims High School in Holly Springs. She served in the mission ministry at her church. She was a retired registered nurse from North Mississippi Regional Center.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on May 5 at Springfield MB Church in Abbeville, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. L. Hodges Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, Earl; her children, Ivory, Angela, Pamela and Clarise; siblings James, Debra, Aubrey, Maggie and Sweetie; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
