Bobbie Jean Woodson Shead

Bobbie Jean Woodson Shead, 78, of Holly Springs, died June 15, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on June 22 from 2-8:30 p.m., and with family from 7:30 to 8:30, and on June 23 and at the church from 10-10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on June 23 at Hernando Road Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Larry Shead will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Alexander Shead; two daughters, Debra Jean Shead-Hart of North Las Vegas, Nev., Nova Ann Shead-Spence of Champaign, Ill.; two sons, Alexander Shead Jr. of Abilene, Texas, Michael Shead of Russellville, Ky., her mother, Ella D. Jackson Woodson of Pleasanton, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Stevens of Metairie, La., Darlene Morrow of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Daniel B. Woodson Jr. of New Braunfels, Texas;12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Shead.
