Bobbie Jean Harris Williams

Bobbie Jean Harris Williams, 74, of Lamar, died July 31, 2021, at her home. She was a member of St. Luke C.O.G.I.C. in Ashland where she was a church mother, church usher and vice president of the Willing Workers Christian Council. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at St. Luke Church C.O.G.I.C. on Aug. 7 from 1-2:55 p.m., with graveside services at 3 p.m. in the church cemetery. Elder Nathaniel Holleman will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Charles Edward Williams; two daughters, Veronica Williams, Pamela Williams, both of Ashland; two sons, Eric Williams of Jackson, Tenn., Joe Willie Ayers-Williams of Ashland; two stepsons, Robert Brock of Augusta, Ga., Frederick Brock of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Helen Cole of Ashland; one brother, Payton Smith of Ashland; three stepsisters, Mattie Norton of Rockford Ill., Gertha Norton of Nashville, Tenn., Melba Williams of Ashland; one stepbrother, Jimmy Norton of Ashland; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Susie Ayers, Pearline Brown, Annie Bob Brown; and brother, William D. Harris.
