Billy Lawrence McKinnie

Billy Lawrence McKinnie, 61, of Grand Junction, Tenn., died Feb. 28, 2020. He was a member of Union Hill MB Church, attended Ashland High School where he played basketball. He was employed at Harmon Automotive, Sequentia, Wilder Youth Development Center, and the Grand Junction Police Dept.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Mar. 8, at Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries in Lamar. First lady Martha Woodard of Union Hill MB Church and Pastor Eddie Walton of Spring Hill MB Church officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Debra A. McKinnie; three daughters, Nicole McDaniel, KaShundra Brown, Latoya Pirtle; two sons, Billy McKinnie Jr. (Anita) and Alprintice D. McKinnie (Ashley); six brothers, AC McKinnie (Susie), Lem McKinnie (Betty), Johnnie McKinnie, Eddie L. McKinnie, Karl McKinnie (Latoya), Roy McKinnie (Cassandra); four sisters, Elmon Lockett (Cliff), Erma Jones, Nancy Woods, Rosemary Buckley; 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
