Billie Walker Palmer

Billie Walker Palmer, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, died November 17, 2024. He was a US Air Force veteran, a member of Bridgeway at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a farmer.

Visitation will be held at Holly Springs Funeral Home on Nov. 23 from 5-9 p.m. and on Nov. 24 at Bridgeway at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 12 noon with services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

He leaves his wife of 66 years, Marie Devore Palmer; sons, Mark Palmer (Jennifer) of Florence, Ala., Matthew Palmer (Michelle) of Mt. Pleasant, Eric Palmer (Carrie) of Oak Ridge, NC; sisters, Ella Anglin of Memphis, Tenn., Charlene Rogers of Columbia, Tenn.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Harold (Bully) Palmer; sisters, Annette Teague and Shirley Brougher.
