Bessie Lee Turner

Bessie Lee Turner, 92, of Holly Springs, died February 11, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Concord MB Church in Lamar.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 24 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Concord MB Church with burial in the church cemetery.

She leaves a son, Terry Turner (Stean) of Memphis, Tenn.; five daughters, Ella Mae Ayers, Lula Ayers, Dyann Johnson, Shirley Wilson, Barbara Ann Braden, all of Memphis; 33 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, 51 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Warren G. Turner; daughter, Stella Banks; two brothers, Marcell Moore, Luther Turner; three sisters, Ophelia Turner, Julia Roberts and Ida Louise Perkins.
