Bessie Jean Frost Campbell

Bessie Jean Frost Campbell, 71, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Potts Camp, died Feb. 19, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. The widow of William Campbell, she was a member of Mt. Ollie MB Church in Potts Camp, a dock/housekeeping employee at Dillard's at Oak Court Mall in Memphis.

Visitation will be held on March 1 from 26 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and March 2 from 9-9:55 a.m. at Awakening Church in Holly Springs. Services will be at 10 a.m. at the church. Rev. Laddie Whaley will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Ollie MB Church Cemetery.

She leaves two daughters, Sonja Swearengen of Olive Branch, Angela Marion of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one son, Cedric Marion of Memphis; a stepson, Anthony Campbell of Memphis; three sisters, Barbara Campbell and Annie Hill of Holly Springs, Cathrins Buford of Memphis; two brothers, Willie Frost of Holly Springs and Bobby Frost of Memphis; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Lena Frost.
