Bertha Brown, 98, of Tupelo, died June 17, 2017, at The Cedars in Tupelo. The widow of Percy Brown, she was a beautician.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on June 23 at Liberty Methodist Church in Ashland, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Jimmy Mitchell of Chambliss; two daughters, Barbara Cox (Billy) of Falls Church, Va.; Anzonettie Brown of Key West, Fla.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
