Barbara Jean Hubbard Richardson

Barbara Jean Hubbard Richardson, 74, of Holly Springs, died June 12, 2023, at Methodist Germantown Hospital. She was a member of Jordan Temple of Deliverance Baptist Church where she was an associate minister and prophet. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on June 23 from 3-6 p.m. and on June 24 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Bishop Earnest Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a daughter, Bessie Marie Carter of Holly Springs; sons, Quincell Hubbard, Harry L. Richardson III, Mark Anthony Richardson, all of Holly Springs, Marvin Kirkwood of Oxford, Robert Kirkwood of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Allean Bohanna of St. Louis, Mo., Josephine McAdams, Mary Rooks Bogard, Hattie Rooks, Anita Hudson, Wendy Hudson, all of Holly Springs; brothers, Leroy Hubbard, James Hubbard, Clarence Rooks, all of Holly Springs; 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Richardson Jr.; siblings, Charles Mitchell and Earnestine Kirkwood.
