Barbara Ann James, 91, of Blue Mountain, died October 29, 2024. She was a factory worker.
Services were held at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel on Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. Burial was in Bethlehem Methodist Cemeter y.
She leaves a son, Kenneth Alderson of Blue Mountain; daughter, Beverly Alderson of Blue Mountain; brother, Carey Barber of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Linda Strickland of Hickory Valley, Tenn., Cybil Teel of Red Banks, Yvonne Joyner of Collierville, Tenn., Becky Tice of Rossville, Tenn.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William James; son, David Houston Alderson; two daughter, Brenda Taylor, Sandra Joyner; and a sister, Connie Holmes.
