Avis Helen Hill, 83, of Byhalia, died Dec. 2, 2019. The widow of James Hill Sr., she was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6, at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville, Tenn.
She leaves four daughters, Kathleen "Sassy" Hill of Byhalia, Avis Barrios (Dan) of Graceville, Fla., Pam Hailey (Rick) of Collierville, Crystal Ridge (Wayne) of Byhalia; 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Hill Jr.; a daughter, Sherry Rice; and three grandchildren.
