Artravis Altawn Scruggs

Artravis Altawn Scruggs, 52, of Memphis, Tenn., died July 20, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a key manager at CertiFit Automotive Warehouse.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 28 from 3-7:30 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. On July 29 at New Hickory Hill MB Church at 6580 East Raines Road. Pastor Antonio Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his wife, Tamara L. Scruggs; daughters, Alexis Scruggs of Osceola, Ark., Sherika Scruggs of Olive Branch, Crystal Scruggs of Nashville, Tenn., Emonya Carbo of Memphis; sons, Eric Carbo of Atlanta, Ga., Ellis Price of New Orleans, La., Emiko Carbo of Memphis; sisters, LaTonia Scruggs, Chasity Scruggs, both of Memphis; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Natha Bogard Scruggs and father, Allen O. Scruggs.
