Arristine Pegues Smith

Arristine Pegues Smith, 87, of Potts Camp, died April 16, 2021, at her home. She was a member of St. Paul CME Church in the Lake Center Community where she served as president of the Missionary Society, was a church stewardess and treasurer. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul CME Church on April 24 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on April 24 at Charity Hill Cemetery in the Lake Center Community. Rev. Michael Adams will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves five daughters, Delois Wilbourn of Sardis, Agnes Nelson of Norfolk, Va., Lola Adams of Memphis, Tenn., Mona Davis of Holly Springs, Marcia Smith of Potts Camp; six sons, Howard Smith of Holly Springs, Ronald Smith Sr. of Byhalia, Ralph Smith of Waldorf, Maryland, Vincent Smith of Potts Camp, Kevin Smith of Norfolk, Va., Reginald Smith of Waterford; three sisters, Tina Harper, Juanita Kelly, Clovis Armelin, all of New York, NY; 22 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith.
