Armetta Mozell Moore Brown, 87, of Ripley, formerly of Waterford, died June 11, 2022. She was a retired teacher after 34 years of service.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on June 20 at Cottrell Memorial Cemetery in Holly Springs. Foster and Son Funeral Home in Ripley was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Charles Brown Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Sharon Brown Hollins of Ripley, Jennifer Brown Hall (Karl) of Lewisville, Tex.; sister, Bernice Moore Hall of Byhalia; and brother, Albert Moore (Pauletta) of Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown Sr.
