Anthony "Sugar Bear" Malone

Anthony "Sugar Bear" Malone, 63, of Holly Springs, died August 14, 2022, at Alliance HealthCare System. He was a member of Thus Saieth The Lord Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir. He was an auto mechanic at Northside Wrecker Service in Holly Springs.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on August 25 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Rev. J.W. Smith Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his daughters, Coretta Woods of Memphis, Tenn., Shiketa Sholar of Byhalia, SirBritney Hearn of Holly Springs; son, Shonte Woods of Holly Springs; sisters, Stephanie Taylor of New Albany, Jualdine Hudson of Holly Springs; brothers, Robert Kimbrough Malone Sr. of Holly Springs, James Earl Malone of Hickory Flat, Kinney Kimbrough Malone of Chulahoma, Conniel Malone, Kenneth Malone, both of Houston, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Allen Malone and Magnolia Holloway Malone.
