Annie Pearl Lay Ingram

Annie Pearl Lay Ingram, 69, of Holly Springs, died June 27, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a former bus driver for ICS Head Start and a church stewardess.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 3 at Mt. Comfort CME Church in Waterford, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Harris Ingram; a daughter, Jennifer Ingram of Holly Springs; four step-children, Diane Smith of Byhalia, Nakeshia Shaw of Oxford, Brandi Boyd, Kelvin Reynolds both of Holly Springs; two sisters, Betty Edmondson of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary Miller of Champaign, Ill.; four brothers, Albert Lay Jr. of Waterford, Earnest Lay of Champaign, Eddie Lay, Johnny Lay, both of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five siblings, Evia Porter, Minnie Miller, Dorothy Reynolds, Robert Lay and James Lay.
