Annie P. Jones

Annie P. Jones, 87, of Colorado Springs, Col., formerly of Memphis, Tenn., and Potts Camp, died Aug. 3, 2017, in Colorado Springs. The widow of Roosevelt Jones, she was a member of Reid’s Gift MB Church in Potts Camp and a retired cook at Al Sims’ restaurant in Holly Springs.

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m., with family from 6-7  p.m. on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 12 at Hill Crest Cemetery. Pastor Ronnie Driver will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four daughters, Angela Jones, Rose Barnosky, Janie Thiam, all of Memphis, Tenn., Betty Anderson of Etta; seven sons, Jesse Jones, Carl Jones, both of Memphis, Larry Jones of Olive Branch, Christopher Jones of Rock Island, Ill., Phil Jones, Victor Jones, both of Holly Springs, John Owens of Colorado Springs; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Charlene Massey and Lawrence Jones.
